Mentorship Program
Mentorship Program

At Beckenhauer Construction, we believe that hands-on learning and strong relationships are the foundation of a great career. That’s why our Mentorship Program is such an important part of the journey for our interns, project engineers, and new hires.
Through this program, participants are given the opportunity to step beyond their own project sites and explore a variety of active jobsites across the region. These guided tours offer a behind-the-scenes look at the scope, challenges, and unique elements of other builds, broadening their understanding of the work we do as a company.
But it’s about more than just the buildings, it’s about the people. The Mentorship Program also provides the opportunity to meet and connect with employees from across the company. These experiences foster early career growth, support professional development, and help build lasting relationships that strengthen our team.
It’s also an opportunity to better understand how different departments work together. Whether you’re in the field or in the office, seeing how each piece contributes to the bigger picture creates a stronger sense of purpose and ultimately, a more supportive and collaborative team.
Whether it’s gaining insight into different construction methods or simply getting to know the people who make Beckenhauer Construction what it is, this program continues to shape confident, capable professionals ready to build the future.
Most recently, a group of Beckenhauer Construction mentees had the chance to visit the Clay County Jail and Law Enforcement Center to check out the progress being made. It was a great opportunity to ask questions and see how a law enforcement project is coming together in real time.
Even some of our office staff joined in on the visit to learn more about the field side of our business, which made for some great conversations and a better understanding of what it takes to bring a project to life.
Big thanks to the team for taking the time to walk us through the project. Opportunities like these are what the Mentorship Program is all about; bridging knowledge, building confidence, and bringing people together.
