Our Savior Lutheran Church
Ribbon Cutting
Norfolk, NE
After months of construction, the addition and renovation at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Norfolk is complete.
The approximately 22,000 SF project transforms previously unfinished space into a facility designed to support the church’s growing ministry and create more opportunities for the congregation and greater Norfolk community to gather. The completed space includes dedicated youth rooms, event spaces, adult Bible study rooms, additional restrooms, a serving kitchen, coffee bar, and stage.
The completion of the project was celebrated with a ribbon cutting attended by members of the congregation, volunteers and the project team. Pastor Lee officially cut the ribbon and took time to thank the congregation, volunteers, and Beckenhauer Construction for the work and partnership that made the project possible.
That sense of partnership was evident even before the ribbon was cut. Student volunteers from the church helped move furniture into the new spaces, taking part in the final step of turning a construction project into a place ready to be used by the people it was designed to serve.
For BCI, the most rewarding part of a project is seeing the owner’s vision become something tangible. At Our Savior Lutheran Church, the finished spaces are more than new rooms, they provide the flexibility to support worship, fellowship, education, and community for years to come.
We are proud to have been part of this project and grateful to the congregation, volunteers, Davis Design team, and trade partners who helped make the vision a reality.
