Sarpy County 911 Center
Sarpy County 911 Center
Papillion, NE
Construction is progressing on the new Sarpy County 911 Center in Papillion, Nebraska. This renovation project encompasses approximately 14,702 SF across two floors. Crews are currently finishing drywall, installing the new concrete parking lot, placing access flooring in the dispatch area, and continuing overhead mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work. Priming and the first coat of paint are scheduled to begin in the coming weeks as the project continues to move toward completion.
The project involves a complete transformation of the existing facility, including demolition of the first-floor walls and ceilings and removal of the lowerlevel ceiling and mechanical systems. The renovated space will feature new HVAC systems, including an air handling unit, upgraded electrical systems with a new generator and gear, new restrooms, breakrooms, exercise rooms, offices, and an access floor system designed specifically for the dispatch center. The project also includes the removal and replacement of both the parking lot and roof.
One of the most exciting aspects of this project is the opportunity to help create a new 911 call center for Sarpy County. Facilities like this are rare and require specialized infrastructure and systems that support critical emergency operations. Projects like the Sarpy County 911 Center play a critical role in supporting emergency services, making this renovation particularly rewarding for our team.
