In 2005 Norfolk, NE voters approved a $9.345.000 school bond for remodeling and additions to existing elementary buildings and the Middle School building. Voters in addition approved an $11,425,000 school bond for remodeling and additions to the existing Junior High and Senior High school buildings. The total school bond issue was $20,770,000.

• Bel Air Elementary -- NOW COMPLETED
  Project includes parking and sidewalk expansion; Administrative, classroom, and multipurpose room additions, miscellaneous interior remodel work and addition of a fire sprinkler system for the entire building.

• Grant Elementary -- NOW COMPLETED
  Project includes Multi-Purpose/Gymnasium addition to existing school, associated site work and interior finishes and remodel of existing school.

• Middle School -- NOW COMPLETED
  Project includes construction of a 27,320 sq ft 6th Grade classroom and commons addition to the existing Middle School, associated with site work and interior finishes.

• Senior High -- IN PROGRESS
  Project includes four new additions and miscellaneous remodeling areas throughout the existing Senior High School. The additions consist of a new Media and Administrative Center and entrance, new entrance to the gymnasium with new concessions and restrooms, weight/fitness center and science classroom wing. New fire sprinkler system for entire building excluding the Carson Theater.

• Junior High -- IN PROGRESS
  Project includes construction of a 7481 sq ft Administrative and classroom addition, mechanical and electrical upgrades, fire sprinkler system, and miscellaneous renovation and interior finish work.

• Westside Elementary -- NOW COMPLETED
  Project includes the construction of a parking and sidewalk expansion, a 4,470 sq ft Multi-purpose/kitchen/storage/restroom addition and miscellaneous interior remodeling.

• Woodland Park Elementary -- IN PROGRESS
  Project includes parking and sidewalk expansions; storage, classroom and corridor addition and miscellaneous interior remodel work.

• Washington Elementary -- IN PROGRESS
  Project consists of a new single story Administration addition, with minor interior renovation including HVAC upgrade.

• Jefferson Elementary -- IN PROGRESS
  This project consists of a single story Administration addition, with minor interior renovation with electrical upgrades.
