BCI End of Year Celebration
BCI End of Year Celebration

Beckenhauer Construction recently gathered for our End of Year meetings, followed by our annual Christmas party, to reflect on the past year and celebrate the people who make our company strong. Throughout the day, team members took part in presentations from our various committees, including Events, Lean, and the BCI Beyond Grant, as well as updates from different departments across the company. We even had a special presentation from our interns to showcase what they have learned over the year. These sessions highlighted how each group contributes to our overall success and shared goals moving forward.
As part of the Lean Committee presentation, employees participated in an interactive activity focused on the importance of asking “why” and taking the time to understand the full picture before making decisions. The day also included a 401(k) presentation that emphasized the value of long-term investing and planning for the future.
During the meetings, we recapped key milestones and accomplishments from 2025 while also looking ahead to the opportunities and growth on the horizon. The day concluded with several special recognitions. The Employee of the Year award was presented to Zachary Ramaker, Superintendent, in recognition of his leadership, dedication, and consistent commitment to excellence on our jobsites. Two new awards were also introduced this year. The Safety Award was presented to Chris Fowler, Superintendent, for his outstanding commitment to jobsite safety and his involvement on the Lean Committee, reinforcing a culture where safety remains a top priority. The Community Service Award was awarded to Mary Jo Hamik, Project Management Assistant and will now carry her name moving forward, honoring her long-standing dedication to serving both our company and the community.
In addition to these recognitions, we also took time to celebrate the retirements of Austin Funk, General Manager, and Mary Jo Hamik. Their years of service, hard work, and lasting impact on Beckenhauer Construction were recognized and appreciated as they begin their next chapter.
The evening Christmas party gave our team a chance to relax and celebrate together. Kids enjoyed opening gifts and playing games, making it a fun and memorable night for families. We are grateful for our employees and proud of the culture we continue to build as we head into another successful year together.
